At Leashes we believe that every pet is an individual and deserves personalized attention and care. Through respect, leadership, patience, exercise and love, any pet can live a fulfilling, happy life, and we're here to help provide that for your pet when needed. Inspired by Annie's experience working with shelter animals, Leashes Pet Care was born.
Leashes offers a variety of services that can be tailored to suit your pets needs. Our primary mission is to provide the very best care for your pet, whether it's a quick potty break during the work week or a long-term pet sitting. The Leashes team believes in treating your pets as our own!

About Annie (owner):
My name is Annie and after many years in Miami and Austin I am back in my hometown of Pittsburgh, but don’t worry! Leashes Pet Care Broward continues to serve most of Broward County, providing exceptional care to your pets with the help of my dedicated team! I’ve always had and loved dogs, and have always enjoyed dog walking & pet sitting for friends and neighbors. This grew into an interest in dog behavior, rescue and training, and I was inspired to pursue this dream of mine full time.

My name is Casey, I was born and raised in Pembroke Pines, Florida. I grew up in a household where we have constantly had various types of pets. Animals have always held a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. About two years ago I decided to look into dog walking and pet-sitting. Now I find myself caring for animals on a daily basis, it's something that I am exceedingly passionate about.
Evelyn
I’ve been a pet sitter for a year and a half. I love having my regular dogs and meeting new ones along the way. They are always happy to see me, and I feel great knowing I am taking care of them while their owners can’t.
I have two Maltese dogs who are my world, besides my 3 kids. Walking is great exercise as well, so being a pet sitter is healthy too!

My name is Gabby and I moved to South Florida from the Midwest. After the move I decided to focus on doing something new and that involved my love of animals. I've always enjoyed caring for dogs and raising puppies, so working for Leashes is a great fit!

Services & Rates
Dog Walking & PET SITTING
A simple walk outside can ease your dog’s stress while home alone, provide them necessary exercise, and get them a much needed potty break!
20 min - $15 // 30 min - $20 // 45 min - $30 // 1 hour - $40
Each of these times are the total length of the visit, and you let me know how you'd like me to spend the time! On our walks we will remain in your neighborhood, you can even let me know dog's favorite places, so we can be sure to visit them. Each walk will include some treats, if permitted, as well as lots of fresh water when we're back home.
Pet Sitting visits also include giving food and water, any medications or other daily necessities, as well as a little extra love while you’re away. Additional home care services are available upon request (bringing in mail, watering plants, etc). We have experience taking care of cats, fish, some reptiles, and other small animals.
Note: I always encourage excellent leash skills from all of my dogs, helping them learn to walk better on a leash, no matter what their current level is. If your dog pulls ahead, won’t walk straight, or is easily distracted, this is something we can work on!
Running
For larger and high energy dogs that need a bit more exercise, an early morning or evening jog will do the trick. *For the safety of your pets, extreme temperatures limit availability of this service.

Pet Taxi Service
It’s not always easy to get your pets to all their appointments, and I can help! I can get your pet to any vet, grooming or other appointment as needed. Please contact me for pricing.
Packages & Discounts
Packages and discounts are available for extended periods of time and repeat customers. Give me a call or shoot me an email and we can talk about whatever you're looking for!
Holidays & Additional Charges
Visits on Holidays & Holiday weekends incur an additional $5 charge/ visit. Additional charges may apply for clients based on distance from my home location.
